CANCELLATION

We recommend that you purchase our cancellation protection when booking a stay with us. This way, you are covered if you need to cancel your booking for any reason.

Cancellation – with added Cancellation Protection

The cancellation protection costs 9% of the total price of the stay, including all fees and surcharges, and covers cancellation for any reason.
The cancellation protection is valid until 12:00 (noon) the day before your scheduled arrival, and any cancellation MUST be made in writing to info@ribecamping.dk.

The cancellation protection MUST be purchased at the time of booking and paid no later than the due date for the first payment.
If you book with us by phone or in writing via email, you must state that you wish to add cancellation protection.

There is no right of withdrawal for the cancellation protection.

An administration fee of DKK 250 will be charged when refunding the amount paid.

Cancellation – without Cancellation Protection

More than 30 days before arrival, a voucher* will be issued for the full amount paid.
Between 30 and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the booking value is charged, and a voucher* is issued for the remaining amount.
From 14 days before arrival and up until 12:00 (noon) the day before arrival, 75% of the booking value is charged, and a voucher is issued for the remaining amount.

However, for cancellations of camping stays made no later than 12:00 (noon) the day before the booked arrival, it is possible to receive a voucher* for the full amount paid.

*The voucher is valid for 2 years from the date of payment.

Cancellation for bookings with multiple units under the same name
If a booking includes multiple units (pitch for caravan/tent/motorhome, cabin, hotel apartment, or penthouse apartment), the cancellation only applies to the unit for which cancellation protection was purchased.

Cancellation protection is valid until 12:00 (noon) the day before arrival.

Cancellation after the stay has begun

Our cancellation protection does NOT cover if you have to interrupt your stay – your own travel insurance is used in this case.

Force Majeure

Ribe Camping assumes no responsibility for the consequences of strikes, lock-outs, epidemics/pandemics or other circumstances that are considered force majeure under Danish law.

Right of withdrawal

We would like to point out that bookings are not covered by the Consumer Agreement Act’s rules on the right of withdrawal. The sale of accommodation (cabins, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Agreement Act’s section 18, subsection 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by a 14-day right of withdrawal.
